In other news in my life, football has finally started! It was a rough weekend for both the Nittany Lions and the Eagles but I'm hopeful things will look up as the season goes on. It's still hot in Houston but the evenings are beginning to cool off a tiny bit, which has me excited for camping once the weather cools off! Right now we can't camp because there's no way to fit me, the Dude, Layla, Max, and all our gear into the "big" car, which is my Civic. Anyone want to sell me a cheap roof rack?

That IS awesome recycling. Love it. I'm so happy fall is here! This is my first real fall in years. What excites me about fall? Colorful leaves, crisp air, pumpkin lattes, walking through leaves, season premieres, pumpkin bread, carved pumpkins, fall decorations...
I think when it finally cools off in Houston, you just get to relax more. Maybe its because I get to just plain be outside more to run or play soccer or BBQ or whatever.
Hey, I just realized that you haven't updated goodreads since Jan 2009! What gives? I was thinking since you read so much, and it's hard to keep up with all of them on your blog you could put them on goodreads and at minimum rate them with stars. I like to know what you're reading, so I can pick up something you recommend. :)
